The Wellcraft 5600 polycarbonate well cover is designed to fit the 5600 Window Well Sections. This well cover series is available in two options: flat and dome. The dome cover is only recommended for when the Egress Window extends above grade. The clear UV-inhibited color allows for plenty of natural light to shine through to your basement or crawlspace while still functioning as an operating cover. This cover is meant to keep leaves, debris, small animals and even small children from falling into your window well. And although its structure is made to withstand strong hurricane winds and up to 500 pounds of weight, it is easy to prop open in case of any emergency.
