About IGI Airport
Indira Gandhi International Airport serves as the primary civilian aviation hub for the National Capital Region of Delhi, India. Named after Indira Gandhi, a former Prime Minister of India, it is the busiest airport in the country & the second busiest airport in the world in terms of passenger traffic since 2009.
Diplomatic Enclave
Dwarka will be the second diplomatic enclave in the Indian capital after Chanakyapuri. At present, the proposed land is a narrow 10-foot road on the outskirts of Dwarka in southwest Delhi, with marshy fields on either side. The need for a second diplomatic enclave arose after the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
Gurgaon & Dwarka Connectivity
The wait for metro connectivity between Gurgaon and Dwarka may get longer with the Haryana Government rejecting all the three routes suggested by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation in its recent Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the stretch as being “financially unviable”.

Dwarka Expressway
NH 248-BB, commonly known as Dwarka Expressway is a 27.6 km long, under construction, 8-lane, controlled-access highway connecting Dwarka in Delhi to Gurugram. The expressway will take off from Km 20 of NH-48 (old NH-8) at Shiv Murti in Mahipalpur, Delhi and terminate at Km 40 of NH-48 near Kherki Daula Toll Plaza in Gurugram, Haryana.
MPD 2021
Delhi is expected to record a population in the range of 28-30 million by the year 2041. To meet their requirements and to resolve numerous problems plaguing the city, the fourth master plan for Delhi (MPD) is being prepared. An attempt has been made to describe the progress made in this regard and preliminary focus areas of the plan.
