The 16-Port Industrial USB 5Gbps hub with 5Gbps of shared bandwidth features a 2-port host switch, enabling users to switch between two host devices. This USB hub is built for industrial environments. It features a rugged steel housing. It is equipped with Level-4 ESD protection, with 15kV air and 8kV contact discharge ratings. This also enables the hub to be used for daisy chaining to connect multiple Hubs together to support more devices. The 16-Port USB Hub offers three mounting options. The 19" rackmount rails are compliant with EIA-310 standards to install into 1U of rack space. The surface mount is ideal for workstations, desks, or walls. The standard DIN-rail (Top-Hat/TH) mounting hardware is ideal for installation in industrial equipment. This USB Hub features an included 160W power adapter. Power can be inputted using the 2-wire terminal block, and optional redundant power can be connected to a separate barrel power input (12-24V). With a power source connected the hub supports USB Battery Charging Specification 1.2 (BC 1.2), enabling each port to provide up to 1.5A. This USB Hub is OS independent supporting all operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux. A USB Event Monitoring utility is also available for download.
